BoPin 150 All-Weather Construction Silicone Sealant

BoPin 150 is a single-component, neutral-cure oxime silicone sealant formulated for general construction sealing applications requiring reliable weatherproofing performance. It cures at room temperature upon exposure to atmospheric moisture, forming a durable, flexible rubber with good resistance to UV radiation, ageing and extreme temperature variations. The non-sag formula and broad substrate compatibility make it a dependable choice for both interior and exterior construction sealing where conditions are more demanding than standard gap filling.

Chuẩn bị bề mặt — Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease and old sealant residues.
Ứng dụng — Cut cartridge tip at 45°, load into sealant gun and apply with steady, even pressure. Tool the joint within the working time using a wet spatula.
Curing — Allow to cure at room temperature with adequate ventilation. Full mechanical properties develop after 7 days.
Cleanup — Remove uncured sealant with a solvent. Cured sealant must be removed mechanically.

Limitations

Not suitable for structural load-bearing applications
Not recommended for movement exceeding ±20%
Not recommended for continuous water immersion or aquarium construction
Not recommended for use in fully enclosed, unventilated spaces
Not recommended for surfaces containing plasticiser or solvent residues
Do not apply when substrate temperature is below 4°C or above 40°C

Mẹo

Although neutral-cure, this product uses oxime chemistry — ensure adequate ventilation during application in confined or indoor areas
For joints requiring movement capability above ±20%, consider BoPin 380 or BoPin 220
Always conduct a compatibility and adhesion test on actual project substrates before full application
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
