BoPin 635 is a single-component, neutral-cure silicone sealant from our premium certified natural stone silicone series, specifically formulated for natural stone sealing applications. The non-staining neutral cure system ensures no oil migration into porous stone surfaces such as marble, granite, limestone and travertine — a critical requirement that standard neutral-cure silicones cannot always guarantee. The product bonds reliably to natural stone, glass, ceramic tile, aluminium and coated metals without primer, and delivers durable flexibility with good movement capability to accommodate the thermal expansion and structural movement characteristic of stone installations. Suitable for both interior and exterior stone sealing applications.

Chuẩn bị bề mặt — Ensure all stone surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, stone sealers and old sealant residues. Remove any existing stone sealer from the joint area as this may affect adhesion. Do not wet the stone before application.
Ứng dụng — Cut cartridge tip at 45°, load into sealant gun and apply with steady, even pressure into the joint. Tool immediately using a spatula dampened with soapy water. Apply masking tape for clean joint lines on polished stone.
Curing — Allow to cure at room temperature with adequate ventilation. Avoid water contact for at least 24 hours. Full mechanical properties develop after 7 days.
Cleanup — Remove uncured sealant with a solvent before skin formation. Cured sealant must be removed mechanically — take care not to scratch polished stone surfaces.

Limitations

Not suitable for structural glazing or primary load-bearing applications
Not suitable for continuous full water immersion
Not suitable for use in fully enclosed, unventilated spaces
Not suitable for surfaces containing plasticiser or solvent residues
Not suitable for PE, PP or PTFE surfaces
Do not apply when substrate temperature is below 4°C or above 40°C

Mẹo

Always conduct an adhesion and staining test on actual stone samples before full project application — stone porosity and surface treatment vary significantly between stone types and sources
For polished stone surfaces, apply masking tape carefully along both sides of the joint before application to protect the polished finish — remove immediately after tooling
If the stone has been previously sealed with a penetrating stone sealer, the sealer must be removed from the joint bonding surfaces before applying sealant
Store cartridges upright in a cool, dry location away from heat and direct sunlight
