BoPin 180 Scellant acrylique universel

BoPin 180 is a single-component, water-based acrylic sealant for interior dry-area joint sealing and crack repair. It cures by water evaporation at room temperature, producing a flexible, paintable finish that blends seamlessly with surrounding surfaces. The low-odour, water-clean-up formula makes it a practical and user-friendly choice for cabinet finishing, wall crack repair, skirting board sealing and general interior decoration work where a neat, paintable result is required.

Application Fields	Construction générale

Préparation de la surface — Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease and loose material. Substrate moisture content must not exceed 12%.
Application — Cut cartridge tip at 45°, load into sealant gun and apply with steady, even pressure. Smooth with a wet spatula or damp finger within the working time.
durcissement — Allow to cure at room temperature with adequate ventilation. Cure rate is 1–2mm per 24 hours. Paint only after the surface is fully dry and no longer tacky.
Cleanup — Remove uncured product with water and a damp cloth. Cured product must be removed mechanically.

Limites

Strictly not suitable for areas subject to prolonged water contact or immersion
Not suitable for structural joints
Not recommended when substrate temperature is below 5°C or above 40°C
Not recommended when ambient humidity exceeds 80% or substrate moisture content exceeds 12%
Not suitable for movement exceeding ±7.5% — for higher-movement joints use BoPin 630
Ne convient pas aux joints extérieurs exposés directement aux intempéries

Conseils

For best paintability, allow full cure before applying paint — painting too early may cause cracking
Slightly moisten very porous substrates (plaster, brick) before application to improve adhesion
Product must be protected from freezing during storage and transport
Store cartridges upright in a cool, dry location away from heat sources
