BoPin 640 Decorative Trim Silicone Sealant

BoPin 640 is a single-component, neutral-cure, high-strength silicone sealant formulated for interior decorative finishing and trim sealing applications. It combines good elasticity with waterproof and moisture-resistant properties, making it suitable for securing and sealing decorative elements including door and window surrounds, skirting boards, cabinet bodies and toilet bases. The green-certified, eco-friendly formula carries very low odour and is suitable for use in occupied residential and commercial interiors. Multiple colour options allow the product to blend with surrounding decorative finishes for a clean, professional result.

Préparation de la surface — Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease and old sealant residues. Surfaces must be fully dry before application.
Application — Cut cartridge tip at 45°, load into sealant gun and apply with steady, even pressure. Tool within the working time using a wet spatula for a smooth finish. Apply masking tape along both sides of the joint for clean, precise lines.
durcissement — Allow to cure at room temperature with adequate ventilation. Full mechanical properties develop after 7 days.
Cleanup — Remove uncured sealant with a solvent before skin formation. Cured sealant must be removed mechanically.

Conseils

Apply masking tape along both sides of the joint before application for clean, professional lines — remove immediately after tooling before skin forms
For toilet base sealing, ensure the base and floor are completely dry and clean before applying — any residual cleaning product or moisture will shorten joint service life
In high-humidity climates, allow adequate ventilation after application to ensure full cure
Store cartridges upright in a cool, dry location away from heat and direct sunlight
