BoPin 850 is a single-component, moisture-curing MS polymer adhesive engineered for high-strength panel bonding and heavy construction assembly applications. Available in two performance variants to suit different installation requirements: the standard grade delivers exceptional tensile strength of 3.3 MPa with good elongation for applications where flexibility is needed alongside strength; the instant-grab grade provides immediate anti-slip resistance on vertical surfaces with fast skin formation of 5 minutes — critical for large-format stone and sintered panel installations where temporary mechanical support would otherwise be required. Both variants cure at room temperature to form a strong, flexible rubber with good ageing resistance and long-term durability.

Préparation de la surface — Ensure all bonding surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, release agents and loose particles. For polished stone and smooth metal surfaces, wipe with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry completely. Remove any existing adhesive or coating from the bond area.
Application — Load cartridge into sealant gun. Apply adhesive in parallel beads or a serpentine pattern to one bonding surface. For vertical panel applications using the instant-grab grade, work in manageable sections within the 5-minute skin formation window.
Assembly — Press panel firmly and evenly into position immediately after adhesive application. For the standard grade, temporary support may be required for vertical applications during initial cure. For the instant-grab grade, immediate anti-slip resistance reduces temporary support requirements.
durcissement — Avoid loading or disturbing bonded panels for at least 24 hours. Full mechanical properties develop after 7 days.
Cleanup — Remove uncured product with a suitable solvent before skin formation. Cured product must be removed mechanically.

Limites

Not suitable for PE, PP or PTFE surfaces
Ne convient pas aux applications de vitrage structurel
Ne convient pas à une immersion continue dans l'eau
Not suitable for surfaces containing plasticiser, oil or solvent residues
Do not apply when substrate temperature is below 4°C or above 40°C
The instant-grab grade has lower elongation (150%) — not suitable for joints subject to significant movement

Conseils

For large sintered stone panels on exterior facades, consult a structural engineer to confirm adhesive bead pattern, spacing and panel fixings comply with applicable wind load requirements
The instant-grab grade (5-minute skin) is specifically designed for vertical panel bonding — use this grade when working on wall panels and facades to minimise temporary support time
The standard grade (430% elongation) is better suited for panel joining and splicing applications where differential movement between panel sections must be accommodated
Always conduct an adhesion test on actual project materials before full installation — stone surface treatments and panel coatings vary and may affect bond strength
Store cartridges upright in a cool, dry location away from heat and direct sunlight
