Surface Preparation:

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and old sealant residues
Remove loose particles with a clean cloth
For best results on porous surfaces like concrete, use BoPin PR-140 Universal Primer

Application Method:

Cut the cartridge tip at 45° angle to achieve desired bead width
Apply with standard sealant gun with even pressure
Tool within 5-10 minutes using a spatula or tooling stick
For best finish, use a small amount of soapy water as tooling aid

Joint Design:

Minimum joint width: 6mm
Maximum joint width: 30mm
For joints wider than 10mm, use 2:1 width to depth ratio
For joints up to 10mm wide, use equal width and depth
Use backing material for deep joints to control sealant depth

Limitation

Not suitable for PE, PP, Teflon, and bituminous surfaces
Not recommended for structural glazing applications
Not suitable for continuous water immersion
May cause staining on some natural stones (use BoPin 635 Natural Stone for these applications)
Cannot be painted (use BoPin MS-240 for paintable applications)

Application

For optimal adhesion on difficult substrates, use BoPin PR-140 Universal Primer
In cold weather, store the cartridge at room temperature before use for easier application
For clean, professional-looking joints, use masking tape on both sides of the joint and remove immediately after tooling
On deep joints, use polyethylene backing rod to control sealant depth and ensure proper curing
Unopened product has 18-month shelf life when stored between +5°C and +25°C
