Surface Preparation:

Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and old sealant residues
For PVC profiles, clean with alcohol-based cleaner
For porous surfaces like concrete, use BoPin PR-140 Universal Primer

Application Method:

Cut cartridge tip at 45° angle to desired bead size
Apply using standard sealant gun with even pressure
Ensure complete contact with both sides of the joint
Tool within 5-10 minutes using a suitable tool dipped in soapy water
Remove masking tape (if used) immediately after tooling

Joint Design:

Perimeter joints around windows/doors: Minimum width 6mm
Ensure sufficient depth for proper adhesion
Use closed-cell polyethylene foam backing rod for deep joints
Design joints to be at least 4 times the anticipated movement
Use backing rod or bond breaker tape to prevent three-sided adhesion

Limitation

Not suitable for PE, PP, Teflon and bituminous surfaces
Not recommended for aquariums or permanent water immersion
Cannot be painted (use BoPin MS-240 for paintable applications)
Not for structural glazing applications
Not suitable for foot traffic or abrasion-prone areas

Application
